Hot off the heels of a trip to Malta, it seemed like a good idea to organise a taster session of Maltese food!
We enjoyed samples of Rabbit Stew (Stuffat tal-fenek), Chicken Stew, Timpana (macaroni pie), Pea Pasties (Pastizzi tal pizelli), for dessert Kanolli tal-irkotta (Ricotta & chocolate filled deep fried dough rolls) and some Maltese biscuits bought at the airport. All washed down with the Maltese soft drink favourite, Kinnie!!
