Dual Sensory Impairment

Auden House is registered with CQC to provide care for residents of dual sensory impairment. Our staff are trained and facilities designed to accommodate residents with either sight, hearing, or both sight and hearing impairments.

Caring Times Care Award nomination!

Auden House is shortlisted for the National Care Awards 2014 – Green Care Home of the Year. John and Judith were interviewed in London on Monday 21st October and will attend the Gala Awards night in London hosted by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford at the end of November to find out if they’ve won. Our residents enjoy a trip out on a special wheelchair accessible canal boat called “New Horizons” based at Marple Bridge. It was a lovely sunny day, with lovely scenery and tea, scones & ice-creams.
